How much power did Vegeta put out with his Galick Gun? He went from 18,000 to... 32,000? That's approx. 1.8x, right? I'm wrong though. Goku overpowered Vegeta with 24,000, so Vegeta couldn't have put out more than 1.2x more power. Edited by Emmeth, Apr 15 2014, 11:39 AM.

Personally, I give Vegeta's GG a similar amp to Goku@Raditz. It seemed like a very similar attack. Also, the zero amp Kamehameha theory is silly. He might as well go punch the guy. Or even throw a non-charge Ki blast. |

The general idea is that Kaioken and Kamehameha don't stack Kaioken x3 Goku: 24,000 Galick Gun: 24,000 Vegeta: 18,000 It's roughly a 1.3x boost |

I don't consider Goku and Vegeta's attacks all that similar even if they look similar. The fact that Raditz was taken aback by Goku and Piccolo's abilities to amp their attacks' powers by focusing ki into singular points kind of goes against the theory that Vegeta was capable of doing this as well. However, in your argument's defense, we also need to consider that Vegeta might have been too strong to have to do this in the past, which would explain why he possibly knew about it, but Raditz had never witnessed it from him before. A special attack has a natural amp, but it seems to take some level of cleverness and understanding how ki works in relation to physical power in order to actually amp it higher than the standard amp. |
